Sixteen new students matriculate for spring semester
Christ Chapel was full on Saturday morning, January 30, 2010 for the celebration of Holy Eucharist and Spring Matriculation. Current students, teachers, friends and family joined the sixteen new students for the opening service of the spring semester.
Southwest enrolled one new student in the Master of Arts in Religion, five in the Master of Arts in Chaplaincy and Pastoral Care, seven in the Master of Arts in Counseling , one in the Master of Arts in Spiritual Formation, one in the Diploma in Theological Studies, and one in Special Studies.
Academic Dean, Alan Gregory, presided, preached the homily, and welcomed the new students to the Southwest community with the following, "Confident of the support of this community, and placing our trust wholeheartedly in the assistance of God's Holy Spirit, we welcome you and give thanks for your presence among us!"
