Faculty Fete GOEers

Seminary of the Southwest faculty congratulated several seminarians who completed the General Ordination Examinations during the first week of January by staging and serving an elegant dinner in Weeks Center on January 9.

Academic Dean Alan Gregory came up with the idea and he and other faculty members planned the dinner. Staff members put together the reception preceding the dinner. Professor Cynthia Kittredge was chaplain to students taking the GOEs.

The dining hall sparkled with white table clothes, china dishes, cloth napkins and silverware. Faculty members circled around tables during dinner with pitchers of water and bottles of wine. Professors Anthony Baker and Micah Jackson volunteered for dish washing and Paul Barton dried the dishes and silverware.

The festivities concluded with rounds of karaoke.
