Gina Bethune

The Rev. Gina Bethune has thirty years of experience in the areas of congregational ministry, clinical pastoral education, chaplaincy and counseling. Professionally certified as an ACPE CPE Supervisor and a Board Certified Chaplain, she directs the CPE program and Chaplain Services at Seton Family of Hospitals that includes eight major hospitals in Austin. Prior to coming to Seton in 2002, Gina served as the Administrative Leader for the CPE program at Scott & White Hospital in Temple and Associate Director of Pastoral Care at the Austin State Hospital. She was ordained to the ministry in 1988 and is currently endorsed by the American Churches, U.S.A. Gina's other experience includes serving on the ministerial staff of two churches, missionary work, and individual and group counseling. Gina is married to the Rev. Dr. Larry Bethune, Pastor of University Baptist Church in Austin and shares life with three adult children.
