Gina joined the Seton Healthcare Family in 2002 to develop the Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) program and lead it to accreditation as an ACPE center. She is an ordained American Baptist minister with over 25 years of ministry experience. Prior to coming to Seton, Gina provided leadership for CPE at Scott and White Memorial Hospital. Other professional experience includes various leadership positions in churches, healthcare and non-profit organizations. Gina is certified by ACPE as a CPE Supervisor and by APC as a Board Certified Chaplain. She has served on various committees for the Southwest Region of ACPE and two terms on the ACPE Certification Commission. Gina served on a Spiritual Care Task Force for Ascension Health and currently serves on a CPE Committee for Ascension. In addition, she is an Adjunct Faculty member of the Seminary of the Southwest in Austin, Texas.
Currently Gina serves as the Director for the Department of Clinical Pastoral Education and the Department of Chaplain Services for Seton Healthcare Family. Responsibilities include administration duties for the division and both departments, with additional leadership roles on various communities within the network.
