Dave Scheider

Fr. Dave Scheider is the Director of the Center for Christian Ministry and Vocation. Dave served 25 years as an active duty Army chaplain. For the last 10 years of his time in the Army he trained chaplains to become marriage and family therapists/pastoral counselors. The Rev. Scheider is a diplomate in the American Association of Pastoral Counselors, a diplomate in the College of Pastoral Supervision and Psychology, an approved supervisor in the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapists, and a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and supervisor in the state of Texas. Fr. Scheider is an Episcopal priest and is canonically resident in the diocese of Central New York. His interest areas are Franciscan spirituality, integration of theology with the social sciences, and treating couples recovering from affairs.
