Claire Miller Colombo
Dr. Colombo has served on the seminary’s adjunct faculty since 2012. Her teaching and research interests include theology and literature, theopoetics, the Romantic era, Samuel Taylor Coleridge, Gerard Manley Hopkins, and Christian mysticism. She has taught in many settings—university, secondary school, parish, and community—but always uses the tools of reading and writing as vehicles for spiritual transformation. As a freelance educational consultant, she develops religion curriculum for Loyola Press of Chicago and is a regular contributor to their Finding God magazines and newsletters. She also writes literature, language arts, and humanities curriculum for several major publishers.
