CCMV Faculty

Kay McKee's doctoral project - Spirit Whispers - inspired the creation of the non-profit corporation - A Spacious Place: Creativity & Spirituality Center - in which Kay serves as Executive Director. The center provides creativity/spiritual offerings for everyone who desires them, focusing especially on populations for whom these needs are often overlooked. Kay has written children's faith education curriculum, teaching tapes and magazine articles for more than 20 years and his written the book - When God Walks Away: A Companion for the Journey through the Dark Night of the Soul. When Seminary of the Southwest introduced Kaye to Christian mystics such as John of the Cross, she grew to love their metaphorical, deeply-grounded theology. Inspired by the mystics' approach to theology, she wrote her doctoral paper as metaphorical and narrative theology.
