A former Baptist minister with the Southern and American Baptist churches in Kentucky and Indiana, Dr. Donald Carr has recently taught courses on Christian Spirituality based on the theme of the Book of Revelation; "Theology in a Nutshell," a comparison of basic theological differences in the major branches of Christianity; a survey of Early Church History; and "A Formula for Fragmentation," a five-part series on the development of denominationalism in the American church at St. David's Episcopal Church in Austin. In addition, he has taught courses in Bible, Spirituality, Church History and Theology at Episcopal churches in Raleigh, North Carolina, and St. Petersburg, Florida. Dr. Carr's areas of specialization are Patristics, Reformation, Nineteenth Century Social History and Historical Homelitics.
