2011 Cook Servant Leadership Award

Jennifer Long, director of Casa Marianella, will receive the 2011 Charles J. Cook Award in Servant Leadership at the seminary’s Matriculation on September 8. The award was established by the seminary’s faculty to honor Charles Cook’s 25 year ministry of teaching and leadership at Seminary of the Southwest. The Cook Award is to be given annually to a person whose life and work exemplify the essence of servant leadership – that disposition of the heart to put the good of the whole at the center of one’s vocation.
